Here’s the list linked in that issue I reblogged. Having read the list, there’s a whole lot wrong with it.

1. My Chemical Romance’s “Helena” is the #1 song. Now, I like MCR’s first three albums. I won’t deny that at all. BUT. That song isn’t even the best on that album, and really it has no place on this list.

2. I didn’t see a single Braid song on there. Come on. Explosions in the Sky is there, but not Braid? Shenanigans.

I don’t feel like going on, but c’mon, son.

My list would be 1-30 Get Up Kids, 31-50 The Anniversary, 51-62 Jimmy Eat World (clarity!), 63-100 everything else on that list condensed.

P.S. Is Piebald an emo band? I have a hard time with that one. They’re kind of a proto-indie rawk band. Whoops, just make myself sound like an asshole.
