There was a lot to 2010. I learned a lot, grew a lot, probably a lot more than I have in other years. I try not to be too reflective. It usually kind of hurts, and who wants that?
I lost two of my grandparents this year, and a whole lot more family aside from them from it. Hum.
I met a really tremendous girl this year. I’m way into her, and frankly, this relationship makes the most sense....
Ever have one of those moments...
…where you think you’re about to be funny and corny about putting on your slippers, and you say out loud, “Goodbye, you damn dirty socks, and hellooooooo strippers.” It doesn’t hit you at first. No one says anything, but they look at you oddly. Then you realize no one really reacted, because instead of saying slippers, you said strippers.
Gonna play with screenprinting today. Or at least make sure I know how to do it, never have before! Aside from that, what’s up with me? Snow shoveling. We had 3 feet of it buffeted up against the front door. Look at my shiny new pictures of ILIS, it looks great on my new camera!

Chicago here I come!

Together with my beefrond Joseph of Displaced Snail Publications, I’ll be tabling at the Chicago Zine Fest in March. It’ll be my first time visiting the city, and it looks like a number of talented writers and artists are already registered to table along with us. Can’t wait.
This is going to be the best. Event. Ever.
Buy these things for Christmas →
Fine!
It’s one of THOSE days. Let’s talk music. Here are what I think to be my 5 favorite albums I found out about this year - they weren’t all necessarily released this year. So let’s just say, the 5 I listened to the most.
Owen Pallett - Heartland
Aesop Rock - None Shall Pass
Hot Chip - One Life Stand
Tallest Man on Earth - The Wild Hunt
Cats on Fire - Our Temperance...
Odin's Draugar
Glad to have your support! Here’s a little snippet from a comic I’m working on!
Scratching his beard, and taking off his great helm, Orlig replied, “The blood’s already been shed, brother.” (picture of a helmet)
As he spoke, a moan rung, and the brothers shivered and feared. It was their father, they knew, rising from death.
“A draug,” they uttered, synchronistically. Ulfar...
