A contest concerning glasses

So for a few months now I’ve been plagued by inanimate objects taking my glasses. I’ve hunted them down, far and wide. I’ve had them stolen by kitchen witches, redbirds, hat’s, mother gooses, crysta’s relatives, robotic ice cream machines and brooms.

Now, where do you come in?

Well, gotmyglasses would like to feature you! I’ve been doing some blog-run contests, but never has gotmyglasses featured one. Here’s the usual rundown:

Picture 1: I’m wearing my glasses and engaged in an activity, like drinking tea, sewing, singing, or sleeping.
Picture 2: I go more in depth to that activity and progress the narrative (sometimes, my glasses go missing in this picture)
Picture 3: My glasses are definitely gone, and I am lamenting the fact that I have to go get them.
Picture 4: I find the person/animal/inanimate object that has taken my glasses and scold/reason with them concerning their actions.

Basically, just go to the site, look at how it’s done, and emulate, with four of your own photos. I’ll collect them on November 10th (it only takes like 5 minutes to do one) and, depending on how many I receive, the best few will be featured on the site!

Please, no photoshop. Email the photos to joecarlough@gmail.com

If you haven’t got glasses, feel free to use sunglasses or someone else’s!

Oh, and feel free to reblog this, and see if anyone else wants to play.

NaNoWriMo is going great. I’m about 3,200 words in, I need at least 3,400 today to keep on my mark, so hopefully I can surpass it by a great amount. Is anyone else out there (aside from Zak and Crysta) using this month to try and write some great piece of work? You really should. It’s way much fun. This year I’m looking to finish 50,000 words in short stories called Red: A Collection of Anger or something like that. It’s going well.

Anyhow, it’s going to be a good month. I can tell. I’ve got the Richmond Zine Fest in a week, and tons of stuff that is/will be ready for that. Everything at my Etsy will be for sale at it. I’ve got the writing, which is good. I hope to get all of my grad school applications in by the end of the month, which will be good, too. I’m going to be selling hummus for the first time ever next week, hopefully. This is going to be a good, good month.

I hope you’re all with me on this one.
